History

• The affix “Squareclose” was granted to Ian Christie on the 1st May 1989, and from that time I have made it my objective to breed and supply top quality puppies which will give their new owners many years of enjoyment in the field or as a family companion.

• We have in recent years exported a number of Spaniels and Retrievers to Canada, U.S.A, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands and Oman.

• The most successful export to date has been Flowbog Yank of Brackendale who became a Swedish FTCH and also won the Danish Spaniel Championships.

• "The kennels have produced Field Trial winning Springer Spaniels, Cocker Spaniels and Labradors both in the UK and overseas, the most recent being Squareclose Ranger who, on the 28th January 2005 won a spaniel trial in Vezon, Belgium (judged by Victor Mcdevitt)"
